1950’s black overdyed and faded gabardine jacket

Here’s a 1950’s overdyed and faded black Ricky style gabardine jacket by Pennys. Originally a dark green with a nice fade that is still seen after two dye cycles. Removed the tattered quilted lining and sewed the hem and cuffs back as well as a replacement zip.

Much more wearable now with just some holes in the elbows and pinholes from wear.
